St. Augustine is my town. My family's roots in St. Augustine go back to the 1700s when the Minorcans established their colony here. I am a direct descendent of the Ortega family. The Minorcan tale began when 8 ships were launched off the coast of Spain in 1768. The 1403 passengers were bound for an indigo plantation in New Smyrna beach. In 1777, they escaped the plantation and made their way to St. Augustine. I am very proud of my heritage and of my St. Augustine.
As a native of St. Augustine, I've seen our little city grow from a simple town into an historic mecca. Our additional attributes include gorgeous white sandy beaches which have been attracting beach lovers for years and we have become known as a center for the arts. Please do not assume that we only encompass all that makes for a small town. We have a lively city full of opportunities to hear great music, view great art and a high walkability factor. St. Augustine is also a very health conscious community: organic farms, farm to table restaurants, yoga studios and miles of beaches to ride your bike or walk, just to name a few.
When people have an interest in St. Augustine, I know they will be very discerning when choosing the Realtor that will introduce them to all that is St Augustine. I truly believe that I should be your choice. I am experienced, well educated, a native and I love what I do for my life's career.
